Phones, tablets and printing

This page is for staff who use SBDMS on a phone or tablet at the camp, and for anyone who needs to print a QR card, a profile or the day’s report. It applies to every role.

SBDMS is a website, not an installed app. Open it in your phone’s browser, log in, and use it as normal. Everything needs a network connection; there is no offline mode.

On screens narrower than a laptop, the top menu collapses into a button (three lines) on the right of the header. Tap it to open a full-screen menu:

  • Self Register
  • Dashboard, Participants, Submit QR Data, Org Prashan (when logged in)
  • An Admin panel (labelled Core Data for GeneralUsers) that opens and closes when tapped. It holds Camp Days, Dose Preps, Office Staff, the reference lists, Reports (admins only) and Data Import (SuperAdmin and GeneralAdmin only).
  • Your name, role and username in a box, with your Assigned Locations if you are a LocationAdmin or GeneralUser.
  • Login, or Logout at the bottom.

The turns into an × while the menu is open. Tap it, or tap any link, to close. The menu scrolls if it is taller than the screen.

  • The site chooser and the camp day dropdown stack one above the other.
  • The four statistic boxes show as two rows of two.
  • The action cards stack in one column: Participants, Register New Child, then the yellow Search & Update Information card that opens the Prashan page for the selected camp day.

The table becomes a stack of cards, one per child or guardian. Each card shows the name, UPC, status and site, and opens the profile when tapped. The filters (Filter by campsite, My campsite only, Show unverified, Include guardians) sit above the cards. For SuperAdmin and GeneralAdmin a Delete button sits on each card.

  • The heading and its action buttons wrap onto several lines.
  • Personal information, guardians and the QR card stack in one column.
  • The dose timeline tiles shrink so twelve months fit across without sideways scrolling. Tap a tile to see its details and remarks; there is no hover on touch screens.
  • Manual Search and Digital Intake stack, search first.
  • The measurement fields go to one column. They open a number keypad, so typing 95.5 is quick.
  • The buttons are full width, so they are easy to tap.

Most admin tables scroll sideways inside their box. Drag left and right to see every column. Office Staff and Camp Days show cards instead of a table.

The QR card carries the SBDMS title, the person’s name, the QR code and the UPC. The QR code contains only the UPC.

  1. Open the child’s or guardian’s profile.
  2. Next to the QR code, choose a Size: Sticker 50×30 (a 50 by 30 millimetre label), A5 or A4.
  3. Click Print.
  4. In the browser’s print dialog, check that the paper size matches what you chose, then print.

Your last size choice is remembered on that device. Download saves the QR alone as an 800 by 800 pixel PNG, for use in a message or a document.

Right after a registration, the success page has the same Size chooser and a Print All Codes button so that every new guardian and child card prints in one go.

On a child’s or guardian’s profile, press Ctrl+P (Windows) or Cmd+P (Mac), or use the browser’s Print command. You get a one-page A4 sheet with:

  • the name and UPC,
  • personal information,
  • guardians,
  • the prior doses box, when the guardian reported earlier doses,
  • the dose timeline.

Hidden on paper: the header and footer, every button (Verify Registration, Edit Profile, Add Follow up, Print, Download, the Size chooser), the remarks modal and the small QR card. The QR card has its own print mode above, so the two never mix.

Open the camp day’s analytics page: go to Admin → Camp Days and click Reports on the camp day’s row. Scroll to the bottom and click Print Report. The button itself does not appear on paper. The page prints with its counts, charts and tables, including Dosed here, preferred site elsewhere. For the official government forms, use Admin → Reports and download Anusuchi-2 or Anusuchi-3 as a file instead.

Whichever page you print, these never appear on paper:

  • the header menu and footer,
  • buttons, dropdowns and tick boxes,
  • loading placeholders and the Working… screen,
  • open pop-up boxes,
  • the size chooser and print buttons themselves.

If something unwanted still prints, tell the team which page and which element; they add it to the hidden list.

Setting Use Why
Paper size Match the Size you chose: 50×30 mm, A5 or A4. Profiles and reports are A4 portrait. The page asks for the right size, but some printers ignore it.
Margins Default The page sets its own.
Scale 100 %, not “fit to page” QR codes are sized exactly; shrinking them can make them hard to scan.
Colour Black and white is fine QR codes only need contrast.
Background graphics Off Avoids the faint page texture printing as grey stripes.

Save as PDF is offered by every modern browser as a print destination. Use it to check the layout before using paper, or to send a card or profile by message.
